Ideal Public Spaces in Taipei

What is an ideal public space in Taipei ? Does this question exist or not ? Public Spaces tell the basic yet essential situations of a living environment. However, due to Taiwan's social circumstances today, people tend/need to put the concerns on private territories, such as housing, instead of public spheres. Taipei nowadays meets great challenges on residential issues, which have been discussed widely yet not been tackled sincerely; on the other hand, issues on public spaces are sometimes unconsciously forgot and ignored. Except the result of disconnections between the two, public spaces could work closely with the private realms; public spaces are like connectors between the individuals and create the specific quality of the city. What are the possibilities of Taipei's public spaces ? Or, what are Taipei's new type of public spaces ?
